In case of accidental exposureto the contents of your pepper spray, follow these first aid instructions: Remove contact lenses (if any) and contaminated clothing immediately.
What is the proper way to store my Mace Case?
Store your Mace Case in cool dry areas away from heat, flames, or strong light. DO NOT store it in an enviroment where the temperature may exceed 120 degrees F (50 degress C) such as an enclosed vehicle. The pepper spray cartridge may leak from over pressurization and fail to function properly. DO NOT store unit in a cold enviroment under 32 degress F (50 degress C). This may cause depressurization and the loss of effective range.
Can I use Mace Case after it's expired?
The phone case itself will not expire. The attactchment/cartridge of Mace pepper spray has a shelf life of four years and each pepper spray unit is labeled with an expiration date. An expired unit will not have the amount of pressurization needed to spray properly. Expired units should be disposed of in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. We recommend purchasing a new unit every two to three years.
